‘Call the Midwife’ Season 10 is now available to order on DVD!
The latest season of Call the Midwife is coming to DVD soon.
The BBC’s hit period drama series about a group of nurse midwives in the East End of London is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
Airing slightly later in the year than usual following production delays in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, Season 10 only finished shooting in February.
The show returned to UK screens in April and the new episodes will premiere in the US later this year.
If you can’t wait that long, the American DVD release of Season 10 is now available to pre-order on Amazon here!
The three-disc DVD box set will include every episode from the tenth season, plus 2020’s feature-length Christmas special.
Set in 1966, Season 10’s story lines include Ted and Violet’s new shop, the World Cup, and the possibility of a different habit for the nuns.
In the first of seven new 60-minute episodes, change is on the horizon in Poplar as Sister Julienne must determine whether a private clinic venture is a suitable workplace for the Sisters.
Meanwhile, Sister Monica Joan’s crisis of faith will continue to weigh heavily on her mind.
The BBC officially announced earlier this year that Call the Midwife has been renewed until at least 2024!
This year’s Christmas special began shooting in England last month, and the team are now hard at work making Season 11 for next year.
Celebrating a decade of love, life and laughter, a wonderful 10th anniversary book is being published later this year.
The “up-close and personal story of Call the Midwife, as told by the cast and crew who made it into the iconic drama it is today” has been compiled by creator Heidi Thomas’s husband Stephen McGann, who plays Dr Turner.
Original Call the Midwife star Jessica Raine, who played Jenny Lee, recently began filming a new drama series with the makers of Sherlock.
Season 10 is available to pre-order on DVD on Amazon.
