The mini-series explores the changing landscape of social and class divisions in turn of the century England through the prism of three families: the intellectual and idealistic Schlegels, the wealthy Wilcoxes from the world of business, and the working class Basts.
In the first episode, a passionate misunderstanding, a surprise visit and a stolen umbrella in the spring of 1905 set into motion a series of events that unexpectedly intertwine the lives of the Schlegel, the Wilcox and the Bast families.
Howards End is available to watch on Amazon Prime.
