Watch Ross and Demelza’s entire love story from ‘Poldark’ in 17 minutes!

The BBC has celebrated the end of Poldark with an emotional recap video.

Based on the series of historical novels by Winston Graham, the Cornish period drama series launched in 2015.

The final season concluded in August 2019.

Poldark starred Irish actor Aidan Turner as Ross Poldark, who returns home after American Revolutionary War to rebuild his life with a new business venture, making new enemies, and finding a new love (Eleanor Tomlinson) where he least expects it.

This 17-minute clip tells the whole epic tale of Ross and Demelza’s romance, from the very beginning.

While the BBC’s adaptation of Poldark is over for the time being, the show’s creators have hinted that it could still return one day.

Executive producer Karen Thrussell hinted last year: “This will be the last series in the Poldark chronicle… for now. Who knows what the future may bring.”
