Watch fun trailer for new 1950s murder-mystery movie ‘See How They Run’
We’re really looking forward to See How They Run and now the first trailer has been unveiled!
Arriving in cinemas this autumn, the upcoming murder murder movie is set in London’s West End during the 1950s.
Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn) and Sam Rockwell (Moon) headline the starry cast, with David Oyelowo (A United Kingdom), Adrien Brody (Peaky Blinders), and Ruth Wilson (Mrs Wilson).
See How They Run sees plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered.
When world-weary Inspector Stoppard (Rockwell) and eager rookie Constable Stalker (Ronan) take on the case, the two find themselves thrown into a puzzling whodunit within the glamorously sordid theater underground, investigating the mysterious homicide at their own peril.

The supporting cast includes Harris Dickinson (The King’s Man) playing the young Richard Attenborough, alongside Sian Clifford (Fleabag), Shirley Henderson (Stan and Ollie), and Reece Shearsmith (Inside No.9).
They’re joined by Paul Chahidi (Twelfth Night), Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (Wolf Hall), Pearl Chanda (I May Destroy You), Charlie Cooper (This Country), and Pippa Bennett-Warner (Harlots).
See How They Run is getting a cinema release on Friday 9th September.
Director Tom George (This Country) has described it as a “thrilling, smart, funny murder mystery” and it certainly looks like a lot of fun if this trailer is anything to go by.
The movie was filmed in 2021 at a number of famous London theatres, including the Dominion Theatre, St. Martin’s Theatre, and the Old Vic Theatre.
Ruth Wilson returns to our TV screens later this year as Mrs Coulter in the final season of His Dark Materials.
Based on Philip Pullman’s The Amber Spyglass, Season 3 is set to premiere on BBC One in the UK and on HBO in the US.
The first two seasons of His Dark Materials are available on DVD on Amazon.
