The second season of The Larkins ended in the UK last night.
The comedy-drama series has been a hit for ITV since it launched in 2021.
Fans will be eagerly waiting to find out if The Larkins is coming back with another season or if it’s been cancelled!

ITV didn’t announce the second season’s commission until filming resumed this spring, more than six months after the show’s debut.
So we should probably prepare ourselves to not hear any definitive news on the prospect of Season 3 for a while still.
Season 2 is expected to premiere in the US this winter on Acorn TV, as Season 1 did last year.
We’re sure Acorn will want to gauge the response their audience has before committing more money to the future of The Larkins.
Walsh told ITV recently: “I love Pop Larkin and I love playing him.”
Reflecting on Season 2’s shoot, Scanlan said: “It’s been wonderful being back in the farm, in the beautiful Kent countryside – it’s a very special place. I just love every minute of being there.”
Writer Simon Nye, who previously created The Durrells for ITV, sounds positive too: “People seemed to like the first series, which was gratifying!”
He added: “Audience figures were great, we try not to worry too much about that from the creative end of it, but it is nice to know that people are watching. So, we were welcomed back with open arms and here we are.”
Assuming the second season retains its American audience, The Larkins should get the go-ahead for another season in the coming months.
New episodes are then likely to begin filming around April 2023, with the production once again making the most of the summer weather in Kent.
As for Season 3’s release date, the first two seasons both premiered in October in the UK, so October 2023 seems a safe bet!
We’ll keep you updated as soon as there’s an official announcement.
The Larkins is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
