We’ve seen some great Downton Abbey impressions over the past decade.
Then there’s the BBC’s wonderful charity sketch from 2011, featuring Absolutely Fabulous stars Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders, with Olivia Colman from The Crown.
Joining the list of our favourite Downton voice parodies is American actor, impressionist, and comedian Mary Elizabeth Kelly.
The Los Angeles-based star posted a very funny video on YouTube over the weekend.
Her two-minute clip, originally shared on TikTok, features her impressions of Lady Mary Crawley (Michelle Dockery), Tom Branson (Allen Leech), Lady Edith Crawley (Laura Carmichael), Lady Sybil Crawley (Jessica Brown Findlay), Thomas Barrow (Robert James-Collier), Mr. Bates (Brendan Coyle), Anna Bates (Joanne Froggatt), Cora Crawley (Elizabeth McGovern), Isobel Crawley (Penelope Wilton), Dowager Countess (Dame Maggie Smith), Ms. Patmore (Lesley Nichol), Matthew Crawley (Dan Stevens), Daisy Mason (Sophie McShera), Mrs. Hughes (Phyllis Logan), Lord Grantham (Hugh Bonneville), and Mr. Carson (Jim Carter).

Some are better than others, but we think you’ll agree that her Mary and Violet are spot-on!
Mary Elizabeth Kelly also does some spot-on impressions of various other iconic British stars, but we won’t spoil the surprises as she morphs seamlessly from one in to the next:
You may also remember seeing Downton stars Michelle Dockery, Allen Leech and Hugh Bonneville re-enact a scene from the show with American accents on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert a few years ago.
It’s very funny and very bizarre – if you’ve never seen it, you can watch that here!
The second Downton Abbey movie will finally be released in cinemas this spring.
