First look at Jude Law as Captain Hook in ‘Peter Pan and Wendy’ trailer
Disney has released the first trailer for the new Peter Pan and Wendy movie!
A live-action reimagining of the studio’s 1953 cartoon classic, it’s based on J. M. Barrie’s 1904 play Peter Pan, also known as The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up or Peter and Wendy.

Newcomers Alexander Molony and Ever Anderson will lead the cast as Peter Pan and Wendy Darling, with Jude Law playing villainous pirate Captain Hook.
Arriving on Disney+ as an Original Movie this spring, the movie comes from filmmaker David Lowery, director of The Green Knight and Pete’s Dragon.

Peter Pan and Wendy introduces Wendy Darling, a young girl afraid to leave her childhood home behind, who meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up.
Alongside her brothers and a tiny fairy, Tinker Bell, she travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland. There, she encounters an evil pirate captain, Captain Hook, and embarks on a thrilling and dangerous adventure that will change her life forever.
When’s the release date?
Peter Pan and Wendy will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Friday 28th April.
Disney also unveiled another movie trailer this month, previewing the new live-action The Little Mermaid film.

Directed by Rob Marshall (Mary Poppins Returns), this live-action version of 1989’s Oscar-winning animated musical will be released in cinemas on 26th May.
The cast of The Little Mermaid also includes Halle Bailey as Ariel, with Daveed Diggs (Hamilton) as the voice of Sebastian, Javier Bardem (Skyfall) as King Triton, and Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) as Ursula.
