‘All Creatures Great and Small’ reveals Season 3 release date
PBS has announced when the new season of All Creatures Great and Small begins!
Based on author James Herriot’s much-loved collection of stories, Channel 5’s hit drama series was renewed for a third and fourth season earlier this year.
The cosy period drama follows the heartwarming and humorous adventures of a young country vet in the Yorkshire Dales in the 1930s.
Filming resumed this spring in Yorkshire, and now viewers in the US know when to expect All Creatures Great and Small back on their TV screens.
While the new episodes will premiere first on Channel 5 in the UK, American fans won’t have to wait too long to catch up.
Season 3 will be airing in the US at 9/8c on Sunday nights on Masterpiece on PBS from 8th January 2023.
The run will wrap up on 19th February with a belated (and slightly unseasonal) showing of 2022’s Christmas special, following the official season finale episode the previous week.

Rachel Shenton, who plays Helen, revealed recently that the third season of All Creatures Great and Small will be “a completely new chapter” for James and Helen.
Adding to that, Mrs Hall actress Anne Madeley has hinted that there’s “both darkness and light” ahead, with “some frightening things on the horizon” as the Second World War looms.
